Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. A skin rejuvenation procedure that utilizes the SkinPen, a state-of-the-art medical device. SkinPen employs multiple disposable small needles to create micro-punctures on the epidermis. Each microscopic puncture generates channels that trigger neovascularization (new blood supply) and neocollagenesis (new collagen growth) for skin tissue repair.
The Skin Pen Microneedling device penetrates the skin at depths ranging from 0.25mm-2 mm. An enhancement to this procedure involves the application of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) derived from the patient's own blood, further stimulating collagen production and promoting wound healing. PRP, rich in growth factors and stem cells, is obtained by separating platelets from Red Blood Cells in a small blood sample. This PRP can be applied topically during the Microneedling procedure, popularly known as the "Vampire Facial®," or injected directly into the skin for a rejuvenating "Vampire Facelift®." The combination of Microneedling and PRP offers a comprehensive approach to skin renewal and collagen synthesis.
